Ram Gopal Varma-Shivrajkumar’s Kannada film Killing Veerappan launched on Rajkumar’s birthday!

With this film, the eccentric filmmaker RGV will be venturing into Sandalwood for the first time
Enough has been said about how Ramu has gone cuckoo on Twitter, with his notorious statements and infinite jibes at famous celebrities. Lets focus on his next film, Killing Veerappan, his Kannda directorial debut. The film based on the massive manhunt of dreaded sandalwood dacoit Veerappan, stars Kannada actor Shivrajkumar.

And the showman RGV choose to launch the first look of the film on the birthday of late Kannada superstar Rajkumar, who was abducted by Veerappan. It is also interesting that Ramu chose Rajkumar’s son Shivrajkumar to play the chief officer to hunt down Veerappan in the film.

The poster is very realistic as it shows Shivanna reading through reports with a coffee mug in hand, plotting the downfall of Veerappan. The caption below the poster reads,” A story of Cunning, Courage, Evil, Genius, Betrayal, Friendship and above all a Tremendous Commitment”. Looks like the director is all set to tell a riveting tale of Veerappan’s manhunt with Shivanna’s charisma to garner the required attention.
